The food is always very good, be it steak, fries, coleslaw, burger, lunch menu or dessert :) My favorite restaurant. I also like the red gummy bears. Thank you.

It was really great, the meat is excellent and the side dishes are fresh and well prepared. It's a shame that you can't order a bearnaise sauce with the rib eye. the wine list could also be more extensive.

As in every block house in Germany, there is also the reliable quality of this steakhouse chain. Upon arrival, the Corona measures with the waiting times were handled very confidently by the staff. The food, as always, solid, and freshly prepared.

The restaurant is very well located, close to the metro. Very well organized in the face of the new COVID-19 measures. Good attention and the food is excellent. But ... If you like Tabasco, you have to bring it yourself.

Simply a classic among steakhouses for decades. Friendly conditions and a beautiful interior. In my opinion, the regulations regarding Corona have also been implemented well here. You don't get the best steak in town here, but the overall package and price / performance ratio fit.

So if you want to enjoy a really good steak with very friendly catering, you can't avoid the Block Haus

Delicious steaks, good salad and good tiramisu - though I am really disappointed with the service. I ordered my steak “well done” and the guy who took the order discussed with me and commented on this preference - then I was served a steak which was “raw”. It was one of the few times I did not give a tip. When paying 35€ for a menu I expect better service, sorry but I won’t come again.

We were passing through Frankfurt and discovered the restaurant by chance. No reservation was necessary, we received a very friendly welcome and there were plexiglass panes at all tables, but not so that you had the feeling that it would restrict you. For a Thursday evening there was a lot going on and it went very quickly, you didn't have to wait long for your meal. The steak was perfect as we wanted it, unfortunately just a little cold for my personal taste. The bread was delicious and the baked potato was great. Price was ok for a steak normal price. The dessert was delicious and also very nicely presented. (For the steak for the eye, I personally think it would have been great if it had been served on a kind of cutting board or if it had been nicely decorated because unfortunately everything was just on a plate and ready. But overall a great steak house. Highly recommended for the next visit to Frankfurt gladly again :)

My favorite steak house. Great selection on the menu, steaks always grilled as desired. Reservations are not possible on weekends, but you can always get a table very quickly.

The meat was okay, maybe a little too through. However, the hot stone was just a small, hot plate that quickly lost its warmth. It was also very noisy and you could hardly talk, which is probably due to the room layout and the lack of partition walls.

I visited the Block House Restaurant on my last business trip to Frankfurt. My choice of food was a filet mignon, which came with a baked potato and a small salad bowl. Taste was absolutely great and I really enjoyed it. Prices are rather high but still reasonable. Bottom line: Great food, nice ambience and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Block House Frankfurt

Filet Mignon was really good! Cooking degree correct and service 1A. Something old-fashioned inside. Potato gratin could do the central thing lekkarer, the rest of the side dishes great!

Nice ambience and good steaks. The initial waiter was quite unfriendly but fortunately he went off-shift and replacement was great

The steak is delicious, and the bread that comes with the fillet steak is also delicious. Das Steak ist köstlich und das Brot im Menü ist auch köstlich. Ich komme aus Shanghai, China, wie geht es dir? Haha😃

As a Berliner very often in the blockhouse, so it's great that there are also some in Frankfurt. It was a great end to the family day in the usual good quality. The waiters, like everywhere else, were very attentive and very friendly.

25 August 2020 eaten here. Nice restaurant. Very friendly people. The waiter serving us was neat and friendly. The food was exquisite, well prepared, well cooked and the taste was really good. Portion was big enough for me, my friend is always hungry and didn't think it was enough;) If you come to Frankfurt, this is definitely recommended !!!

The food was very tasty, the service attentive, quick and friendly. Unfortunately there was no "breather" after the starter. The food was barely there when the last bite was taken. Less than 30 seconds passed in between. Unfortunately, that's way too fast.

Very good service and excellent food. A must who likes to eat steak. Keep up the good work, there aren't that many restaurants anymore. We will definitely come back.

Awsome place for eating out with friends, family and business partners. Worked late into the evening? I would always go to Block House to have a proper meal. The service is great and the staff are really competent. I've been going here since I was a kid. My dad always picked me up from school and we had some really tasty lunch here. For graduation, we went here for some celebration meal. So I have really good memories here. Block House Westend is the steak house to go in Frankfurt.

I visited this place based upon a recommendation from my workmate's former employees, reputed to be good for steak, and true to form it was: I ordered a steak with baked potato and side salad (which arrived first, so I was puzzled if they thought I wanted it for a starter) but the steak itself was pretty good. I could have benefited with some more condiments (mustard, etc) on the table but on the whole the steak and beer was a good meal and just sufficient. At some point during the meal there was a birthday celebration in which "Happy Birthday" was played through the sound system, but once the cake had been delivered the background music was still left turned up, meaning the volume of general conversation rose and it became a bit of a noisy environment - diners had to shout to maintain conversations above the music. Once the meal was delivered we seemed to be ignored - I flagged down one waiter to get the bill but nothing came so we flagged another waitress and initially it seemed even that she had forgotten about us also, until it arrived after much of a delay. I'd return here for another steak, but found the noise and slow service a bit discouraging.

The place is good and has reliable quality. The prices are reasonable and service nice. If you are American and know steakhouses over there, then you know why I give a good review but only 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟. You can't really compare passion for steaks in the U.S. with a German steakhouse even if they make all efforts.

When you dont know where to go for a steak, thats the place. Reliabale quality, modest prices. Good for families with kids.

Great place for lunch

Block house is my favourite steak house in Frankfurt. Great price, great quality, zero pretentiousness. The garlic bread of course is a must, as well as the french dressing for the salad.
